About the idea A long time ago, I asked an artist on deviantart, how she did some type of colouring, and she told me she used a brush pen. I also read about brushpens in a drawing-book, so I decided I wanted on too. I looked in a lot of shops but I couldn't find them.
This year I started at a new art-school, and one of the first times I was their, together with my parents for some meeting, we went to the city after that, and I found an art shop where they actually sold them.
Long story short, I have a few brushpens these days.
I;m not very good with them yet, atleats not at drawing with them, since I'm used to pencils.
Yet some time ago, I started doodling, and made a tree, and after that one, I made a few other trees. This is the most recent one.
About this drawing I found out, that with a brush pen, trees are one of the more easy things to draw for me. I don't have to make dificult figures and such, I'm just making wavy lines, and I really enjoy making them.
I worked for hours on this tree, which was really relaxing, it almost worked like a meditation.
This tree is also the first one with leaves, they where also a lot of fun to draw, but you need quite some concentration to keep looking for empty places where you can draw another leave.
But I had a lot of fun drawing this tree ( and the other too )
Right now I'm thinking of drawing a tree with just black ink on a coloured paper, so you get a but a sunset idea.
....Wow... I admire your patience! I have 1 brushpen; in black XP

Oh wow, that looks great! Brush-pens... There is a shop in the centre of Houten (nearby Utrecht) which sells them. I only bought a green one there but they have lots of colours too (though I also have a black one for calligraphy-practice which I bought in Japan).

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
